That's what our yearbook's theme was in 86'. Some of us rolled our eyes when we opened our yearbook and saw that. Let's face it, the song was way overplayed. But others felt it was right on. The song compelled nations to take notice. It also affected our little school in Merced California.

Here we are many years later. What does it mean to us now? Who have we become? What would we have done differently?
